Definition
Diseases of Nervous System or Neurological disorders are defined by the World Health Organization as "diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system," which includes "the brain, spinal cord, cranial nerves, peripheral nerves, nerve roots, autonomic nervous system, neuromuscular junction, and muscles." Common neurological disorders include epilepsy, Alzheimer disease, and Parkinson's disease.[1]
